Satyabrata "Kuna" Tripathy, born on 22 January 1968, completed his master's degree in Arts from Ravenshaw University.

He has always compensated respect to Late actor Parbati Ghose as his Guru plus mother.[15] Married to Sangeeta Tripathy, he has two daughters - Shreya & Shloka Tripathy.[16]
